Occupational Medicine
Occupational medicine is the branch of medicine concerned with the maintenance of health in the workplace. The primary objectives include prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries, but other objectives will also focus on maintaining and increasing productivity and social adjustment in the workplace.
Strive! has provided occupational medicine services to many of the largest employers in Marion County for the past 30 years. We use a sports medicine approach – treating injured workers as industrial athletes. Our sports medicine expertise and our extensive experience in occupational medicine helps us return injured workers back to work in a shorter amount of time, with less cost, and with higher overall patient satisfaction compared to both state and national averages.*
We treat the injury while enlisting the patient’s active participation in the recovery process and further empower our patients by teaching them self-management and injury prevention.
